The restoration of the swimming pool included the replacement of the existing windows with new double glazed / thermally improved framed window frames that provide natural cross ventilation, replacement of the existing roof sheeting and insulation, the replacement of the light fittings with new energy efficient internal light fittings that were specifically designed and manufactured here in Melbourne, the repainting of the entire building, the upgrade of all the change rooms, the painting and the re sealing of the existing flooring and the complete replacement of the pool equipment to a more energy efficient unit to improve performance and reduce the running costs.
